We did our first ink hatched still lifes today in class. My hatching definitely need some work, but I think the composition turned out all right.

decided to test it out by drawing an evil baby penguin and a bit of bamboo too since I was drawing with a piece of bamboo =D

These are a few the projects we have done in my art class. We were working with calligraphy ink and brushes. 

I don't know why, but I really like drawing eyes. Cat's eyes, human eyes, all awesome! Love the shadows and textures.

These are just a few random drawings I have done out of boredom. The guy was supposed to be Neil Patrick Harris.....yes I failed, but still looks human right? =D

I call these my "experimental drawings." Like when I want to practice things I've never done before like pointilism, hatching, or just plain drawing with an unfamiliar instrument. These are those!!

     I've always wanted to learn how to draw the human body. I gave up on that a long time ago cause it isn't exactly the easiest thing to draw. A friend of mine inspired me to get off my lazy butt and try it again......i'm still working on it.....but hey I figure when i'm old and crusty I should be pretty good at it with some practice.

       

Doodly beginnings

Finally decided to start taking art classes and pursue a career in graphic design. Hoping to see some progress over the years that I have ahead of me in school and in life. =)
